2010 – University of Oxford, Ph.D. (Chemistry) obtained. After working as a PD researcher at Tohoku University and a research development center system technology laboratory at Toshiba, co-founded Integral Culture in October 2015.

Ikko Kawashima

2012 – Ph.D. (Agriculture) obtained from Hiroshima University. AFellow at Baylor College of Medicine, followed by JSPS (DC1, PD) Fellow, then co-founded Integral Culture. Appointed as CTO in April 2018. Recipient of multiple academic awards from the Japan Society of Applied Physics and other scientific organizations.

Nozomu Yamada

2005 – Graduated from the Faculty of Economics, Keio University, and joined Mitsubishi Corporation. Starting his career in management operations related to the food industry, he deepened his expertise in taxation and accounting while working in the accounting department. He was then seconded to Mitsubishi Corporation’s finance and accounting subsidiary, where he served as a general manager in corporate planning and business divisions. He was also seconded to an Indonesian natural gas business investment, where he served as Vice President of Finance, handling fundraising, budgeting and forecasting, risk management, as well as accounting audits and tax investigations.

Akito Arima

After graduating from the Department of Biosciences and Informatics, Faculty of Science and Technology, Keio University, he built an extensive career across the entire agricultural sector, from production to sales, through the trading business at the Grain Division of Marubeni Corporation. He joined Beyond Next Ventures Inc. in August 2019, where he has been leading investments and growth support in the fields of agri-foodtech, biomanufacturing, and climatetech, assuming the role of Partner in 2022 and Executive Officer in January 2026. In addition to promoting numerous industry-academia-government collaboration projects—including serving as a Program Manager (PM) for the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) SBIR program and as the representative of the “Foodtech Study Group”—he has concurrently served as the Head of the Open Innovation Department since 2025, founding the deep-tech conference “TECHNIUM Global Conference.” He currently serves as an outside director for various cutting-edge startups, including TOWING Inc. and Grand Green Co., Ltd.

Mizuki Komasa

2008: Completed a master’s program at Keio University Graduate School (specializing in Bioinformatics) and joined Mitsui Sumitomo Bank. 2011: Joined SMBC Nikko Securities’ Investment Banking Division as a Vice President, gaining experience in equity finance and M&A deals. Currently serves as Executive Officer of Real Tech Fund, responsible for growth-stage investments in aerospace and life sciences.

Yukiko Araki

After graduating from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tokyo, Yukiko studying Political Science at the Graduate School of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), she held several key government positions, including Director of the New Energy Policy Division at the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy, and Director of the Biotechnology and Chemical Industry Division. In the private sector, she held executive roles at Hitachi, Ltd., including Executive Officer, General Manager of the CSR & Environmental Strategy Division, and Head of Sustainability Promotion. She also contributed to the startup of the healthcare business unit at Hitachi. Before she left Hitachi, she served as the Representative of Hitachi’s Brussels Office in Europe. Currently, she serves as an Independent Outside Director for Nakanishi Inc. and TOYO TIRE Corporation, and is a member of the Board of Trustees for Akita International University.

Seiichi Inoue

After graduating from the University of Tokyo’s Faculty of Economics, he joined the Industrial Bank of Japan (now Mizuho Bank). He was primarily engaged in industrial research and corporate sales, serving in various roles such as Deputy General Manager of the Corporate Planning Department, Deputy General Manager of the Operations Management Department, and General Manager of the Sixth Sales Department. After serving as Executive Vice President at Ozax Corporation, Executive Managing Officer and Director at Fuji Pharma Co., Ltd., and Full-time Auditor, he was appointed as an advisor to our company in July 2024. External Auditor at HOKUTO Co., Ltd. (currently serving).

Shotaro Maeda

After passing the second stage of the CPA exam in 2005, he joined Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu LLC, where he was engaged in accounting audits, IPO support, and startup and venture support services. In 2015, he served as Head of Corporate Management at Deloitte Tohmatsu Venture Support Co., Ltd. and later as Executive Officer and Head of the Management Department at AgriMedia Inc. before establishing the Masataro Maeda Certified Public Accounting Firm. In February 2021, he founded Tekune Audit Corporation and assumed the role of Managing Partner.”

Sahori Ikeda

After graduating from the University of Tokyo Faculty of Law and the Graduate School of Law and Politics, she joined Anderson Mori & Tomotsune Law Firm. After graduating from the University of California, Los Angeles (LL.M.), she completed training at Reed Smith’s Los Angeles office and then returned to Anderson Mori & Tomotsune. In January 2020, she was appointed as a partner at the firm.
