IntegriCulture and Kagoshima University to develop cultivated beef

IntegriCulture Inc., a cellular agriculture company, has signed a joint research contract with Kagoshima University under the title of “Mapping and selection of skeletal muscle stem cells in fetal bovine skeletal tissues fit for cell harvest and culture”

In this project, the team investigates the mechanism of the development and growth of bovine skeletal tissue. The knowledge accrued may enable construction of specific bovine skeletal tissue types such as “sirloin” and “tenderloin” as well as improvements in the CulNet system.
